This guy was on our campus today and sang this song with the same hand motions, and all of the LGBT members of the audience had to first promise not to kill themselves, because “gay people are emotional and oversensitive” and “you know, everyone gets bullied, but gay kids are always killing themselves.”

Some of my favorite highlights of the four hours I was there:

Woman: I’m a lesbian, and I’ve only had sex with one person, my girlfriend, and I’ve been with her for two years (after we were told that homosexuals are whores and have sex with animals)
Sister Cindy: Why are you a vagina licker?
Woman: Because it tastes good.

Sister Cindy: Homosexuals have sex with animals
Me: Yes, we do. Humans are animals.
Sister Cindy: No they are not.
Me: Haven’t you ever picked up a biology textbook? We’re in kingdom Animalia.
Sister Cindy: Those books are sinful

Two guys made out for a good 20-30 seconds while everyone cheered

Brother Jed: You’re a lesbian
Me: No, I’m pansexual
Brother Jed: What does that mean?
Me: Instead of being bisexual, which is only being attracted to the two binary genders, I can be attracted to someone of any, all, or no gender identity.
Brother Jed: So you are attracted to everything!? TOADS? YOUR MOTHER?

Brother Jed: Women are meant to be submissive to their husbands
Me: Like in Fifty Shades of Grey?

Brother Jed: What the homosexuals do is not natural
Random guy: Then why do we have prostates?

Brother Jed: God made Woman from a rib to serve Man.
Me: *launches into explanation of X and Y chromosomes and why the Y chromosome, and thus men, actually came after XX*

Me: So, is it okay to be a vegetarian? Or did God make animals for us to eat?
Sister Cindy: It’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Me: What about vagitarianism?
Sister Cindy: I don’t know what that is
Me: Google it.
Sister Cindy: I don’t think I want to

My friend, after receiving a pamphlet with one of their family photos in it: Do you think I should tell them that their daughters are hot?

Brother Jed, in response to a question about people who are trans*: They are probably demon possessed. That happens.

They also tried to take photos of the whole thing to make it look like we were listening intently instead of mocking them, so we all flipped off the camera to ruin their pictures.

I also made new friends there :) Nothing like bonding over hating bigots
